Last updated: April 11, 2026
Plain-language summary
Traqa helps you organize financial data, but you remain responsible for the content you upload, for reviewing outputs, and for using the service lawfully.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Traqa's website, dashboard, APIs, statement upload features, inbound email ingestion, and related services.
By using Traqa, you agree to these terms. If you use Traqa for an organization or workspace, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Eligibility and account security
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and use Traqa only for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, controlling access to your devices, and notifying Traqa promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or workspace.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
3. What Traqa does
Traqa provides software tools that help users upload, email, parse, organize, review, and analyze bank statements and related transaction information.
Traqa is not a bank, wallet provider, money transmitter, payment processor, lender, broker, investment adviser, tax adviser, accounting firm, or legal adviser.
Traqa does not hold customer funds, move money, reconcile bank balances for regulated reporting, or make lending, tax, employment, insurance, or credit decisions.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the files, financial records, and other content you submit to Traqa.
You grant Traqa a limited right to host, store, process, transmit, transform, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service in line with the Privacy Policy.
You may upload or transmit only content that you are authorized to use and disclose. You are responsible for obtaining all rights, permissions, and consents needed for the content you submit.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Traqa to violate law, infringe another person's rights, test credentials without authorization, interfere with service availability, upload malware, abuse rate limits, reverse engineer protected service components, or attempt to access another user's data or workspace.
You may not use Traqa to process financial documents that you are not authorized to access, or to make regulated decisions that require independent professional judgment without appropriate review.
Traqa may suspend or restrict use that presents security, abuse, fraud, legal, or operational risk.
6. AI-assisted processing and service limitations
Traqa uses automated and AI-assisted systems to extract and organize information from uploaded statements and related materials.
Automated output may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for accounting, tax, compliance, financial, or operational decisions.
Traqa does not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect extraction, or error-free classification for every statement format or provider.
7. Fees and plan changes
If Traqa offers paid plans, pricing, billing frequency, usage limits, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be presented at the time of purchase or upgrade.
Unless otherwise stated, paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until canceled.
Traqa may change pricing, plan features, or usage limits prospectively with reasonable notice.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Traqa at any time. Traqa may suspend, limit, or terminate access if needed to address security incidents, legal risk, non-payment, policy violations, abuse, or threats to users or the platform.
Where reasonable, Traqa will try to provide notice before termination, but immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
9. Intellectual property
Traqa and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding, documentation, page design, and related materials, excluding your content.
These terms do not grant you any right to use Traqa trademarks, logos, or other brand features except as allowed by law or with prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers
Traqa is provided on an as-available and as-is basis to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Traqa disclaims implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Traqa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from or related to the service.
To the extent permitted by law, Traqa's aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Traqa for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Traqa and its personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights.
13. Privacy and security
Traqa's handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Security practices are described at a high level in the Security page.
Those documents do not expand Traqa's legal obligations beyond applicable law or a separately signed written agreement.
14. Changes to the service or terms
Traqa may modify the service or these terms from time to time. If changes are material, Traqa will take reasonable steps to provide notice through the service, email, or another appropriate channel.
Your continued use of Traqa after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws that Traqa identifies in its contracting entity or order form, excluding conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
If no separate written agreement states a governing law, the parties will first try in good faith to resolve disputes informally before filing a formal claim.
16. Contact
For legal notices, policy questions, or service concerns, contact Traqa at legal@usetraqa.com.
For privacy-specific requests, contact privacy@usetraqa.com.
These terms are a launch-ready baseline and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before broader regional rollout or enterprise contracting.
